Idealshutters offers indoor painted shutters only. These are the most popular product purchased in Australia and NZ. At a future date Idealshutters will offer Western Red Cedar for those wanting natural wood grain and colour, stain or lacquered finish.
Idealshutters uses the best materials; tried and true poplar (see wood comparison). The material is primed with a thick smooth undercoat, then finished with 3 (not 2) coats of a quality paint. Stainless steel screws are used for the side control (not just zinc plated nails which are not satisfactory where there is movement), deep large dowels, and quality hinges and track systems.
Accuracy of the end product is guaranteed, since Idealshutters uses proprietary automation to closely control the feed and cut process.
